Course Structure

This learning course is structured into modules. Each module contains important information about community engaged research. The course can be taken online (at your own pace) or in a group setting with a trained facilitator (either in-person or virtually). The content is the same no matter which way the course is taken.

What is a facilitated training?

A facilitated training is when a group leader leads the training with a group of learners. A facilitated training can either be a virtual group or an in-person group training. It is designed to be an interactive experience in which learners actively participate in the discussion.

What is involved in being a facilitator?

Facilitators will guide learners through the course, foster collaborative discussions, and answer learners’ questions.
